6 Months Old
6 Months Old Stats:
Weight 15 pounds 7 ounces
Height 26 1/4 inches
Head 16 3/4
What we have been doing:
1. Reid can sit up all by himself, he can do it for awhile but will usually decide that he wants to get moving.
2. Reid is crawling!!! Yes, at first I did not believe what I was seeing and until he actually crawled across his bedroom to me in the closet did I officially say he is crawling.
3. A little after 5 months I started to eat rice cereal (which I really like) and now I eat my fruits and veggies. I have tried applesauce(I was not a fan, mommy says she never has been either), I love pears, sweet potatoes, and I am still getting used to the taste of carrots.
4. I make all kinds of sound effects with my mouth....my mommy and daddy are teaching me a lot. I even know how to make the tooting sound (a.k.a. a blubber). Uncle Mark took a video of me doing that and wants to send it in to America's Funniest Home Video.
5. Reid sleeps all night from 7:30pm to 7:30am on most nights
6. Mom thinks basketball might be the sport for me, because I look very tall and skinny.
7. I am on the move and really do not like to sit still very much (which explains why Reid eats a lot and still is lean)
8. On a nice day Reid likes to watch the dogs fetch their ball, and the dogs like to be really close when he is eating (they are becoming best buds)
9. Valentines Day was fun, I played with Makenlee while mommy and daddy went on a date. Now Makenlee carries my picture around and says "eid" all the time.
10. Bentley, Kennedy, and London came over to Reid's house to visit severall times and they are so sweet to their cousin. They love it when I send videos of what Reid has been doing around the house.
11. Reid is ticklelish all over, and laughs when he gets tickled
12. Reid went to visit at Mt. Peak Elementary for lunch with his mommy's teacher friends. She misses her teaching buddies, but is so blessed to get to stay home with Reid each day.

First Veggie
Reid loves to eat his solid food. He loves sweet potatoes so much that he lunges his mouth towards the spoon and gets upset when the bowl is empty. He then loves to lick his bowl. I have a feeling I am going to be buying a lot of groceries in the years to come for him!
