Reid loves the water and already has got figured out how to kick and move his arms to get around the pool in his floatie.

9 Months Old
Reids stats:
Height: 29 1/4"
Head: 17 3/4"
Weight: 19 pounds 7 1/2 oz.
1. Reid loves to be tickled or mommy loves it because it makes him giggle. He is definately ticklish like his daddy.
2. The day before Mother's Day Reid said his first word "Momma" Daddy could not top that present...it was awesome.
3. Reid loves everything that spins. One day he was in the bathroom and when I went in to get him all the toliet paper was spun off the roll. I am glad it wasn't a full one!!!
4. Reid has three teeth and one top tooth is about to break through any day.
5. We have started to feed him finger foods. Some of his favorites are steamed carrots, waffles, cantelope, grapes, green beans, biscuits, and banana. He still eats his pureed food too.
6. Reid is very close to taking his first step. He stands by himself for about 30 seconds. He is walking around the house while pushing or holding onto anything.
7. Reid is taking 2 naps a day and has recently decided to be an early riser like his mommy. (6:45am has become the new normal)
8. Reid loves to be chased when he is crawling. He will crawl a little bit then stop and see if your there to get him...he then starts to laugh and crawl some more.
9. Reid likes to sit like a big boy in the shopping cart and get groceries at Wal-Mart
10. Every night I sing, "I love you, you love me, we are a happy family, with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you, sweet dreams my little baby" The best part of the song is when he giggles at the kisses right before I lay him down. I can ask for a better ending to the day!

8 Months Old
1. Wow Reid is really on the go! He is crawling everywhere, pulling up and climbing on anything. He has even learned how to crawl up stairs.
2. Bottom two front teeth are in place, we will start brushing our teeth very soon.
3. Takes two naps a day for about 2 hours a piece and will sleep all night.
4. We had a dedication service at church to commit to raising him in a Christian home and teaching him about spirtuality.
5. With his new love of moving about we have had a few minor bumps and bruises, but overall he is a tuff little guy.
6. Loves dogs and will interact more with Wrigley and Lexi. He got to play with Ruby his cousins puppy at Easter.
7. Favorite song "The Wheels on the Car Go Round and Round" yes it is silly, but he will stop crying in the car everytime mommy sings it.
8. Loves to eat with his hands, but he has not learned to put things in his mouth one at a time. We are working on that especially with bigger bites.
9. Reid is vocal and is uttering lots of consonant and vowel blends. Ga, Da, Ge (so this is where people came up with goo goo ga ga)
10. Bath time is still a favorite and he loves his new toy. We can not wait for trips to the pool this summer!

7 Months Old
We have had a busy month of March, it has been filled with lots of family and fun times!

Weight: about 16 1/2 pounds
Height: 26 3/4 inches
What Reid has been up to lately:
1. Reid is crawling everywhere!!! He loves to be on the move and does not stay still for very long.
2. Reid has learned to pull up. One night at dinner we looked at the camera monitor and noticed that he was about to fall over the side of his crib. It in only took a split second to get him, and then daddy got the tools out to lower the crib. He also likes to pull up to the couch, windows, boxes, well just about anything he can he will attempt.
3. Loves to eat and will eat just about anything. I make his baby food and so we have tried an array of flavors. He also likes to chew on green beans and we discovered that at my birthday lunch at P.F. Chains.
4. First airplane and metro ride on our trip to Washington D.C.
5. Nap time has changed. I used to lay him down with his paci and blanket and he would go to sleep. Now he likes to get in bed, stand until I leave the room and then play until he crashes
6. Took a trip to the Hill Country. Went to his cousin Bentley's soccer game and played with his cousin London. Stopped for a nap in Luckenbach, Texas and shopped with his daddy at the outlet mall.
7. Had his first berry picking experience. He loved it until his daddy took away his berry. Dad says that he squished it and it was staining his clothes. The next morning he had strawberries and yogurt for breakfast.
9. Reid has been playing with his cousin Makenlee and loves it. (Reid's mommy his her nanny) He also likes to see cousin Jacob when I take care of him too.
10. Reid visited Baylor hospital again for the birth of Madison his NEWEST COUSIN. She is so precious and already has more hair then he has on his head.
11. Reid has been teething and drooling like crazy and one of his bottom teeth is soon to break though.
12. New motor development he like to shake a rattle or other toys. He also has learned to blow with his mouth and stick out his tongue.
